2nd and hopefull final attempt at trying to get a decent setup for the rear suspension, It will be an inboard set up with pushrod and bell crank as per diagram with shock mounted verticly onto bottom chassis rail

after plenty of trial and error , route for shift linkage is now sorted. will have to source some better Uni's though as mock up ones have to much side play, pity as they were bits i had lying around.

by moving engine assy foward 50mm i now have clearace to remove the No 5 plug,without modifying diagonal.much better that having to pull engine to check a plug.

i had to move the whole engine assy foward approx 50mm to get clearance for No 5 spark plug, it has given me 4deg angle on axle shafts, shouldnt worry things to much.

as i changed from a 4wd box to a 2wd box with a smaller rear housing i had to re engineer the rear mount, i will add a gusset to the alloy bracket just to be on the safe side

passenger seat all done , thank god for that, inner seat belt anchours are in place just the outside ones to fit, and slot the top for shoulder straps.

have built the seat in as a stressed member, when the passenger one is fitted it will form a solid structure in the cockpit, should help to stiffen it up a little.

a 1/4 scale model of the car, the painer at work had a play with colour options and came up with this, dark Porsche blue with some pearl air brushed around the contours, the pics dont realy do it justice , as it looks amazing

finaly committed myself to an engine, its a 3.3 litre subaru 6 cyl,out of a 94 SVX. 250hp stock and only weighs 140kg complete, will be mated to a modified 5 speed wrx box with C.R gears and a slippery diff.

front splitter trial fit, still has mounts to be added, two rollers that will fit into bulls horns protruding from chassis front, then the nose section of the body will afix to splitter and will be held by two pins on top of chassis
